Right now, Netflix’s most popular plan, which allows for streaming in HD on two screens, is $8.99.
However, that will be changing soon. According to a new report from Bloomberg, the streaming company will be raising the price by one dollar, up to $9.99 per month, for the same deal. That’s two screens at HD quality for $9.99 per month. This price is how it’s set right out of the gate for new customers.
For existing customers, however, you’ll be able to keep your current pricing for up to 12 months, and then the new pricing will kick in.
However, if you’re on the one screen/SD plan, which costs $7.99 per month, that’s not going to change. Additionally, if you’re paying the $11.99 per month plan, which offers up to four screens at once, along with streaming in HD and UHD, that plan’s pricing won’t be changing, either.
