At last night’s Country Music Association Awards, Apple ran a 1-minute long ad of the Apple Music featuring popular country music singer Kenny Chesney.
The ad, which was filmed at Chesney’s concert at the Gillette Stadium in Foxboro earlier this year, shows the singer-songwriter using Apple Music on his iPhone for listening to music, curating playlists for his events, and the Apple Watch for tracking workouts.Primarily though, the ad is all about Apple Music and its human curated playlists offered by Apple. The ad ends with Apple promoting the three-month trial period of its music streaming service.
While it is nice of Apple to promote Apple Music, it would have been better if the company actually focused on making Apple Music better. Since its launch, the ‘Bollywood’ station on Apple Music has been playing the same set of songs for me. Granted the amount of people listening to the Bollywood playlist are very less, but that does mean that Apple will update it once every few months.
How happy are you with Apple Music? Do you think it is worth the money?
