December 16 has been deemed beta day, for at least two of Apple’s software platforms, as the company releases yet another beta to developers.
On Wednesday, Apple officially released the first beta of OS X El Capitan 10.11.3 to developers. This beta release comes just a week after Apple publicly released OS X El Capitan 10.11.2, which, for its part, wasn’t a big update in its own right. While that software included a majority of behind-the-scenes tweaks and improvements, along with other software enhancements, this latest piece of beta software is more than likely more of the same.
Apple did not release any update notes with the new software, which is available right now for developers either via the Mac App Store or through the Apple Developer Portal, but if any new features are discovered we’ll update this post accordingly.
Earlier on Wednesday, Apple released iOS 9.2.1 beta 1 to developers.
