Google has published its latest “Year in Search” list, highlighting popular search terms for 2015, and Apple’s new iPhone 6s is right at the top of the consumer tech category.Apple Watch also appears in third, while iPad Pro — the only other Apple device in the top ten — is placed in fourth.
The only other company that can claim responsibility for three of the top ten terms is Samsung. Its Galaxy S6 took the second spot, with the Galaxy Note 5 in fifth, and the Galaxy J5 in seventh. The LG G4 came fifth, the HTC One M9 came eighth, and Google’s own Nexus 6P came ninth.
Last on the list is Microsoft’s new Surface Pro 4. Surprisingly, the 2-in-1 managed to beat out the slightly more exciting Surface Book, which quickly sold out when it was made available to pre-order in October.
No tech-related terms were among Google’s overall top ten searches this year, which included Lamar Odom in first, Charlie Hebdo in second, Agar.io in third, Jurassic World in fourth, and Paris in fifth.
You can check out all of Google’s top search lists, which are split into categories like Films, Hits, People, News Moments, and TV Shows, over on its Year in Search page.
