Apple today continued its string of exclusive Apple Music content with the debut of Keith Richards’ latest single, “Trouble.” The music video is available now only through Apple Music Connect, the company’s musician-focused social network, and can be viewed on Keith Richards’ profile page.
“Trouble” is the latest release from the legendary guitarist, who is one of the original members of the Rolling Stones. The single will be featured on Richards’ upcoming “Crosseyed Heart” album, which is slated to be released next month on September 18th. The endeavour is Richard’s first solo album in over 20 years.
To promote this release, Richards sat in with Zane Lowe in an exclusive Beats 1 Radio interview. The clip aired earlier today, but will be replayed Monday night at 10:00 PM Pacific Time.
Apple is leveraging it Beats acquisition and the influence of Dr Dre and Jimmy Iovine to snag exclusive music deals that’ll drive consumers to its newly launched music streaming service. The service has hosted premiere exclusive videos such as Pharrell’s “Freedom”; Eminem’s “Phenomenal”; and Drake’s “Energy.” Rumors suggest Apple may be working alongside artists to co-produce this content.
