Instagram has become one of the most popular social networking tools for both iOS and Android over the years, and now the social network that’s so heavily focused on images is going to make it even better to look at them.
On Monday, July 6, the co-founder of Instagram Mike Krieger took to Twitter to confirm that the application, both for iOS and Android, is getting support for 1080×1080 uploads, and higher-quality viewing in general. Support for higher-res images is now rolling out to the Instagram app for both Apple’s and Google’s mobile operating systems.
