Reliability is one thing that people expect to be included in their monthly cell phone bill, but unfortunately for some in the southeast part of the United States, today hasn’t been so great.
According to scattered, but many, reports, subscribers under all four major wireless carriers in the United States — AT&T, Verizon Wireless, T-Mobile and Sprint — are experiencing issues with downtime errors. Indeed, the Down Detector site is also reflecting the outage for the carriers.
According to the report, the issue stems from an AT&T-based landline issue, which the major carriers take advantage of in the area.
A report published recently by Re/codeincludes a statement from AT&T, saying that the Big Blue carrier is “working as quickly as possible to restore service.”
The states that are included in the outage include Kentucky, Indiana, Tennessee, and Alabama.
Are you experiencing any outages in that area?
