For those in India waiting to get their hands on the iPhone 6s or 6s Plus, the wait is slowly coming to an end as retailers start launching pre-orders.
As reported by the India Times, the iPhone 6s and 6s Plus are about to launch in the area if retailers are any indication. India’s largest mobile phone retail site, MobileStore, is gearing up to launch pre-orders for Apple’s newest flagship handsets beginning Friday, October 2. At the same time, another major retail chain, UniverCell, is already running pre-orders for the new iPhones, and says that they’ve already managed 100 orders within a day.
The iPhones are set to launch on October 15 and 16, according to the report, and state that pre-orders for the devices will start at Rs 2,000 each. Those pre-orders will end on October 13.
UniverCell is offering plenty of freebies for those that pre-order the device:
“The iPhone 6s 64 GB variant is the most popular one as of now,” said Satish Babu, founder of UniverCell Mobiles. “We will also offer freebies like back case and accessories during booking period,” he added.”
As far as pricing goes, the report indicates that the 16GB iPhone 6s will retail for Rs 62,000, while the 16GB iPhone 6s Plus will go for Rs 72,000, with prices going up as storage capacities increase.
