Microsoft’s Office 2016 for Mac isn’t working very well with OS X El Capitan

Office 2016 OS X El Capitan crashes
Today marks the launch day for OS X El Capitan, but for users of Microsoft‘s Office 2016 suite of productivity apps, upgrading may want to be put on the back burner.
A growing number of Office 2016 users, which became available for Mac owners back in July of this year, are expressing their frustrations that the suite of apps isn’t working properly on Apple’s latest desktop software. As reported initially by Paul Thurrot, compiling complaints from Mac owners and Office users, it looks like the software has a tendency to crash unexpectedly, no matter which app an owner is using at the time.
To make matters worse, there does not appear to be a fix to make the experience any better for now, on workarounds, either.
As it stands, Microsoft is aware of the issues and is working hard on patching things up, but it appears the complaints are still going strong.
If you’ve upgraded to OS X El Capitan and use Office 2016, are you experiencing any issues?
