Following the release of ‘Hey Siri’ and ‘Ridiculously Powerful’ ads yesterday, Apple today uploaded a third ad from the series on YouTube: ‘On the Set”.
The 15-second ad stars John Favreau who uses the always-on ‘Hey Siri’ functionality on his iPhone to search for images of flying squirrels while directing a scene.
With the holiday season fast approaching, it should not really be a surprise that Apple is releasing so many ads promoting the iPhone 6s.
Many analysts have claimed that the iPhone 6s will not be able to surpass the shipments of the iPhone 6 and iPhone 6 Plus from last year, with Apple looking at a decline of around 30-40% percent in its shipments on a QoQ basis. So I’d expect Apple to release a few more ads for the holiday season to give the sales of the handset a boost.
