Google to fix incorrect 1-star iOS app ratings bug in Google Search early next week

App Store
Wondering why most of the iOS apps have a 1-star rating when they show up in your Google Search result? Turns out its a bug, which has now been acknowledged by the search giant.
Due to the bug, iOS apps that had a rating higher than 1-star were also incorrectly displayed as having a 1-star rating in search results. The issue only affected those apps that had been reviewed by 5 or less users.

Google confirmed that it will roll out a fix for the issue by early next week. Below is the official response from Google that was posted by the Google Search community manager AJ in Google support forums:
“I’m happy to share that we’ve been working hard on providing a solution, and a new fix has been scheduled for the next release, which should be rolling out early next week,” Google Search community manager AJ.
The issue seems to be present from late October, so Google has taken its own sweet time to acknowledge and fix the issue.
In case your app rating is being incorrectly displayed on Google Search even after next week, Google recommends that you post in its community forums so that the issue can be investigated.
