iPicar: Jailbreak tweak lets you hide specific conversations in Messages

iPicar
Did you ever wish to have the ability to hide specific conversations in the Messages app? If so, you’ll be glad to find out about a jailbreak tweak known as iPicar that helps you do just that.
The tweak automatically hides conversations in the Messages app received of specific contacts when you enter a special passcode to unlock your iPhone. After installing iPicar, you can get started by first heading to the tweak’s dedicated pane available in Settings. Here, you can toggle it on or off and choose the contacts whose conversations you want to hide.
When you open the ‘Contacts’ section, you’ll find a complete list of all the contacts on your iPhone along with a toggle next to each. Toggling on a contact means that its conversation will be hidden in Messages when you unlock your device with the special passcode.
The pane also features two passcode fields. One is the ‘original passcode’ field where you have to enter the current passcode which unhides all the messages and the other passcode field is labeled ‘Hide Passcode’ where you have to enter the alternative passcode which hides specific conversations in Messages.

Once done, there’s no respring required. All you have to do is to lock your device and unlock it again by entering the special passcode you just set. To unhide all the hidden conversations, you simply have to enter the original passcode again.
iPicar will definitely come in handy in situations where you have to give your iPhone to someone, but don’t want that person to see the conversations with specific contacts.
If you’re interested to get your hands on the tweak, it is available for $1.55 on Cydia’s BigBoss repo. Let us know what you think about the tweak in the comments section below.
