On July 22, Apple seeded the second public beta for OS X El Capitan, the next major desktop-based software release which is scheduled to publicly release later this year.
Now, one week later, Apple has seeded the third public beta for OS X El Capitan to those within the public beta testing phase. That marks just under three weeks since the first public beta was released, as Apple continues onward with its release schedule. This release follows the fifth developer beta that was released late on Monday, July 27.
The update is meant to fix behind-the-scenes issues, apply a few tweaks, and improve overall performance.
The third public beta should be available now within the Mac App Store through the Update section, for those that are running the second beta.
Are you testing out OS X El Capitan?
