Apple today announced this year’s Apple Music Festival, which takes place in London’s Roundhouse over ten nights between September 19 and September 28.
The event, previously named the iTunes Festival, will feature bands and artists like Pharrell Williams, Florence + The Machine, Disclosure, and One Direction.
“We wanted to do something really special for music fans this year,” said Eddy Cue, Apple’s SVP of Internet Software and Services. “The Apple Music Festival is a greatest hits set of ten unbelievable nights featuring some of the best performers on the planet appearing live and interacting directly with their fans on Connect and Beats 1.”
As always, tickets to all ten nights will be free to U.K. residents, but you’ll have to apply to win one through Apple Music or one of its media partners, such as the London Evening Standard. But don’t worry if you can’t be there in person, because you don’t have to miss anything.
Apple will be live-streaming the entire event on Apple Music, iTunes, and through Apple TV. Fans will also be able to catch up with their favorite artists on-demand, and those artists will have the opportunity to share lyrics, backstage photos, and more through Apple Music Connect.
Pharrell Williams, Florence + The Machine, Disclosure, and One Direction have been confirmed for this year’s iTunes Festival already, and Apple will be adding more bands and artists to the list as the event approaches.
