New Apple TV said to arrive with updated, brighter UI but keep the grid view

Apple TV Deal
On September 9, it’s said that Apple will unveil new iPhones, new iPads, and, more than likely, a brand new Apple TV.
Leading up to that event, plenty of rumors and reports have surfaced that aim to shed some light on the next generation set-top box. That includes reports that the new Apple TV will feature a brand new remote, which will reportedly also boast a touch panel for a new way to interact with the set-top box.
Additionally, the new Apple TV will feature an A8 processor under the hood, Siri integration, access to an App Store and more. Now, according to a new report from9to5Mac, another key change that’s coming to the new Apple TV is an updated user interface. However, the main grid style will be staying the same. The report indicates that Apple will be ditching the dark interface the company has used for awhile now, in favor of something brighter.
As it stands right now, it sounds like the refreshed Apple TV is going to be a pretty big leap for the box. Do you plan on picking up a new Apple TV later this year?
