It’s been just over four months since Apple kicked off in-store Apple Watch try-on sessions, to let potential buyers check out the wearable on their wrist before they dropped their hard-earned cash on the device.
Now, according to a report published from 9to5Mac, Apple is changing a few key details in an effort to streamline the experience for those visiting an Apple Store. The report indicates that Apple has already begun tweaking the process this week. To try on an Apple Watch, a potential buyer had to set up an appointment, and also provide their Apple ID and name to an Apple Store employee to get the opportunity.
That’s changing now, though, as Apple drops the appointment requirement altogether, and also negates the need for potential owners to provide their Apple ID and name. From this point on, Apple Store customers that suddenly get the urge to try on an Apple Watch while visiting can do so, no appointment necessary.
Have you gone through the try-on process for an Apple Watch?
