iOS9Swift2
Yesterday, along with the announcement of the iPad Pro, Apple showcased the power ofiOS 9. After the event wrapped up, the company released the first developer beta for the upcoming mobile operating system, iOS 9.1.
Now, hot on the heels of that release, Apple has officially seeded the first public beta for iOS 9.1. That means the lucky individuals that are part of the public beta pool can now install the newest software to try out on their own devices. As far as publicly-known new features, it was discovered yesterday with the first developer beta that iOS 9.1 supports a wide variety of new emoji.
To install the new public beta, those within the program can head over to Apple’s Beta website to include their iPhone, iPad or iPod touch in the program. Once that enrollment is complete, rebooting the beta device should prompt an update through the Update option in Settings.
