AppleCare+ to cost more for iPhone 6s and iPhone 6s Plus

AppleCare-Plus
Apple has silently raised the prices for its AppleCare+ Protection Plan for the iPhone 6s and iPhone 6s Plus. It has also increased the service fee for both devices.
AppleCare+ for the new iPhones now costs $129.99, up from the $99.99 they used to cost for the iPhone 6 and 6 Plus. The service fee has also increased to $99.99 compared to $79.99 for the previous iPhones. Apple continues to sell AppleCare+ for previous generation iPhones at its older rate. The company did not mention anything about the increased AppleCare+ pricing at its ‘Hey Siri’ event yesterday.
It is likely that the company increased the AppleCare+ and Service fee charges for the new iPhones because of the new 3D Touch and Taptic Engine components found inside them.
AppleCare+ is already a part of Apple’s new iPhone Upgrade Program that allows you to upgrade to a new iPhone after every 12 months. The program requires that you pay for your iPhone in monthly instalments, with pricing for the iPhone 6s starting from $32 . Consumers will be provided an unlocked iPhone under this program, with the freedom to chose their own carrier. The program will first be available through retail stores in the United States later this year.
