Pandora’s $1 One Day Pass for ad-free internet radio launches September 10

Pandora-Internet-radio
Back in March of this year, the internet radio company, Pandora, announced a One Day Pass that would allow users to access all the music they wanted, ad-free, for a minimal amount of money.
Now, several months later, the One Day Pass is officially official and will be made available to Pandora users beginning Thursday, September 10. With this new option, listeners can pay $0.99 to access an ad-free experience of Pandora for 24 hours. Pandora’s not positioning this as a way for someone to remove ads permanently month-to-month, as Pandora already offers that with Pandora One (which costs $5 per month). Instead, this is meant more for those that are throwing a party or something similar, and simply want to use Pandora and not have to deal with advertisements.

To activate the new pass, you’ll find it in “Settings” and then selecting “Pandora One.” You’ll see an option for “Day Pass” in there, and then it’ll charge you the aforementioned $0.99 to gain access. As noted in the title, though, the One Day Pass launches on Thursday, September 10, and it’s only available for iOS and Android users in the United States at this time.
