Microsoft Outlook for iOS gets 3D Touch support, email printing

Microsoft Outlook with 3D Touch
Microsoft has updated its Outlook app for iOS, finally bringing 3D Touch support and making it easier to print messages and conversations. Users can now create new emails and events and get direct access to their Outlook calendar simply by pressing the app’s icon.
Outlook has become a hugely popular email client on mobile, and a lot of users have been waiting for 3D Touch support since Apple’s latest iPhones went on sale. Now it’s finally here… but it’s not quite as useful as it could be.
On iPhone 6s and iPhone 6s Plus, pressing the Outlook icon provides you with shortcuts to your calendar, and to create a new email or event. This allows you to go from your home screen to composing a new email, scheduling an appointment, or planning your day in an instant.
Sadly, 3D Touch support doesn’t yet extend into the Outlook app, so attempting to press emails in your inbox or links inside your messages doesn’t do anything. It’s probably just a matter of time before Microsoft makes that happen, though, so we’ll just have to wait for more updates.
The other big improvement is with printing; users can now print messages and conversations from within the email view. To do so, simply tap the options button (three dots) at the top of the email view and select the “Print Conversation” option.
You can download the latest version of the Outlook app from the App Store now by following the link below.
