The Apple Watch will arrive in April, and while charging it every night is something that owners will have to do (unless they forget), simply setting it down on the table isn’t very elegant.
So, a Watch owner might want to get a stand to set their new technology-focused fashion accessory on while it’s charging. Griffin just announced its own Watch stand not too long ago, and now prolific Apple accessory maker, Twelve South, has just unveiled its own Apple Watch stand, called the HiRise.
The HiRise is all about showing off the Apple Watch while it charges, hoisting it up away from a table or desk and tilting it at an angle that will make it usable while there. Twelve South says the HiRise can be used with any one of Apple’s bands for the Watch, and says it only takes a moment to insert or remove the Magnetic Charging Cable.
There’s a leather landing pad on the HiRise, along with silicone accents, all of which are meant to help protect your Watch while its being charged on the stand. The HiRise will be available in white or black, and it will retail for $49.99 when it starts shipping in May.
Do you plan on getting a stand for your Watch?
