Microsoft has put a pretty big focus on its Office 2016 for Mac software ever since it launched it ahead of even its Windows-based version last year, and now those Mac users can get ahead of the public if they want to.
Microsoft is opening up its Insider program to Office 2016 for Mac users, and letting them try out some pre-release software if they want to sign up to get the free updates ahead of the public. With Office Insider you’ll need to be an Office 365 subscriber to access the pre-release software.
You’ll be providing feedback to Microsoft if you do try out the new software, as is usual for these types of things, and obviously Microsoft will be using that feedback to tweak the software ahead of its public launch, to help avoid any bugs down the road.
