One of the strongest selling points by Apple for the iPhone 6s and iPhone 6s Plus is the updated camera on the back of the devices, which is a 12-megapixel shooter.
As such, Apple has been more than willing to let photographers use the new iPhone to test out their art, and come back with photos worth showing off. The first instance was with the New York Fashion Week earlier in the month, and, most recently, the iPhone 6s Plus was used to “capture baseball” at a few games at AT&T Park in San Francisco, California.
Now, photographer Mark Leong by way of National Geographic has taken the iPhone 6s Plus for a spin on a recent trip to China, and the images taken with the camera on Apple’s smartphone are particularly worthwhile. The article was linked to recently by Apple’s Phil Schiller, and the images certainly are worth pointing out.
The images are part of a recent PROOF! article from the publication, which showcases a photographer’s, in this case Mark Leong, journey from beginner to professional. The images were taken with Apple’s new smartphone, along with a tripod, and an app called Slow Shutter Cam. The results speak for themselves.
