Two days ago, Apple seeded the first beta for developers wanting to get their hands on the next version of iOS, 9.2.
Now, Apple has seen fit to release the same beta for public testers. As of right now, beta testers who have signed up for the official public beta testing program can download the first iOS 9.2 beta. The update will be available as an over-the-air (OTA) update after the device you plan on updating has installed the proper certificate to get the publicly unreleased software.
As far as iOS 9.2 is concerned, the new software so far aims to enhance performance, while also including other additions behind-the-scenes. On top of that, iOS Safari will support third-party Action Extensions, as discovered in the official changelog of the newest software two days ago. Plus, holding down the reload option in the updated Safari will offer options for reloading the site as previously loaded, or to bring up a desktop version of the site.
For those that want to sign up for the beta program but haven’t yet, simply head through the source link below and follow the instructions.
