Sprint is one of the few networks in the United States that still offers, technically speaking, unlimited data for its subscribers every month.
Now, to hopefully get a few more eyeballs looking at the network, Sprint has just announced the Starter Unlimited Data Plan. It actually starts at only $20 per month for the data only, but if you want unlimited talk and text you’ll need to fork over an additional $20 per month, bringing the total to $40 per month. For a every extra GB you’ll want or need, that’ll tack on another $15 per month.
The new plan also includes Sprint Global Roaming, which means you’ll get free text messaging and access to 2G data in select international markets. Talk, on the other hand, is 20 cents per minute.
One new plan change is actually worth noting, too, insofar as it offers complete and unlimited access to high-speed data per month. It’s called the Unlimited High-Speed Data Plan, and it also offers 3GB of data per month available to mobile hotspot use. It also offers unlimited talk and text, as well as Global Roaming. That costs $70 per month. If you want to add more lines, it’ll be $60 per line.
The new plan will start on October 30.
