Apple seems to have finally caught up with initial demand for the Apple Watch, with almost all models now shipping in just one day for customers living in the U.S. The only exception to that are the pricey Watch Edition options, which take up to seven days to ship.
All aluminum Apple Watch Sport and stainless steel Apple Watch models — with any strap — are now shipping in just one business day from the Apple Online Store. That includes the Space Grey Sport and the Space Black Watch, which have been particularly difficult to get hold of.
Shipping times are also improving in other markets, such as the U.K. and other countries throughout Europe — but more popular combinations, such as the 42mm Sport with white band, come with a wait time of up to five business days.Once shipping times drop in one market, however, they tend to improve across the board pretty quickly, so it shouldn’t be too long before we see Apple Watch shipping in one day in most countries.
A recent report — which many have already dismissed — claimed that Apple Watch sales have dropped by as much as 90 percent since the device was first made available to order. But Apple has stated it is “happy” with how the device is selling, and it has been struggling to cope with demand for several months.
