Rovio, the creator of the super successful and popular mobile game Angry Birds, today announced a sequel of the game — Angry Birds 2.
The game studio reveals in their announcement that Angry Birds has been downloaded more than 3 billion times across different platforms since its launch in 2009. While Rovio has released many different versions of Angry Birds since then, it never released a proper sequel to the game.
The game studio will release the “mother of all sequels” on July 30. While it does not mention on which platforms the game will be available on, it is likely that the studio will be releasing the game for iOS and Android on its launch day.Until the game is released though, you can head over to the official Angry Birds 2 website to register for any updates about the game.
