Apple releases iTunes 12.3 following launch of iOS 9

Following on the public release of iOS 9, Apple has also released a software update for iTunes, bumping up the public version to 12.3.
With this release, Apple is now officially supporting iOS 9 for the masses, and it’s designed with OS X El Capitan in mind, Apple’s upcoming desktop operating system set to release later this month. There are also other improvements and additions, including a fix for users that were experiencing issues reordering songs within the Up Next function in Music. Another fix includes the Recently Played radio stations not showing up in the previous build of iTunes.

The update also includes the fundamental improvements to stability and performance.
iTunes 12.3 should be available now for OS X users, and will be coming soon to Windows users as well.
