On Wednesday, Apple released iOS 9 to the public, and now the company is back with another release, but this time of the desktop flavor, and specifically for developers.
On September 17, Apple seeded the first developer beta of OS X El Capitan 10.11.1. This is just under two weeks before the public launch of OS X El Capitan is set to go live on September 30. This new developer release is build 15B17c, and it’s available through the Apple Developer Center, or through the Mac App Store and the Update mechanism.
At this point, it’s unknown what has been added, removed, fixed or otherwise tweaked. However, as the day progresses if anything is discovered we’ll be sure to update accordingly.
