Apple enables external testing with iOS 9 apps via TestFlight

Earlier in August, Apple released an update to its TestFlight service, allowing developers to beta test the apps they are building for iOS 9 and watchOS 2.
However, that initial update didn’t bring with it support for external beta testing, which meant developers had to rely on the testing themselves, and to members of their development teams. However, that’s changing today, as reports have surfaced that Apple has switched on external testing within TestFlight for iOS 9 apps.
The report was published recently by 9to5Mac, with a tip sent into the publication. With the launch of external testing, developers can now invite beta testers from outside their own development groups, expanding the ability to test out the app before it’s released to the public later this year with the launch of iOS 9.
Are you looking forward to the launch of iOS 9?
