Earlier on September 14, Apple released four new advertisements showcasing artists and Apple Music, and now the streaming music service has its first curated channel from a luxury fashion icon.
The official curated channel was made available to Apple Music subscribers on September 14, and it’s currently listed under the “Curator Playlists” option. It’s called the “Burberry Apple Music channel, for those that want to seek it out and give it a listen. (It’s worth noting that the Curated Playlist section also includes selections from WIRED, Pitchfork,GQ and others.
As far as content goes, it has apparently been selected by Burberry’s CEO, Christopher Bailey to start. It will also include music that Burberry has played during runway events, and will showcase emerging talent.
Based on a report from The New York Times, the curated Burberry channel will continue to play music from Burberry Acoustic, and the channel will also include plenty of exclusive content as well.
If you check out the channel, be sure to let us know what you think!
