Apple - Amazing apps - ad
Apple has released a new ad for its new “If it’s an iPhone, it’s not an iPhone” campaign, which focuses on the “amazing apps” available in the App Store.
The first two ads in the campaign focused on how people were using the features of the iPhone 6, and the tight integration of hardware and software, which helps in offering a great user experience.
The new ad titled “Amazing Apps” highlights some of the apps available in the App Store with a voice over which says “This is an iPhone. And it comes with something amazing, an App Store with over one and half million of the best apps available. That’s over one and a half million hand-picked, awe-inspiring, just plain surprising, who knew a phone could do that apps.” It ends with the tag line “If it’s not an iPhone, it’s not an iPhoneThe official Apple Store Twitter account tweeted “The App Store turns your iPhone with just about anything!” to share the ad.
The first ad campaign for the iPhone 6 featured Jimmy Fallon and Justin Timberlake, which explained the differences between iPhone 6 and iPhone 6 Plus. The second campaign featured photos and videos shot on the iPhone 6.
Apple had introduced the App Store in 2008 along with the “there’s an app for that” marketing campaign. The ad is a reminder that the App Store is still one of the biggest advantages that Apple has over Google’s Android mobile operating system.
