One of the noticeable visual changes in iOS 9 is the rounded corners of some UI elements. Roundification is a new jailbreak tweak by Cydia developer Zach Russell that brings this effect to iOS 8 Notification Center and notification banners.
The tweak makes the edges of notification banners appear round including Quick Reply. In addition, the entire interface of Notification Center will also have rounded corners giving it a floating effect.
Notification Center and banners have had the same look ever since iOS 7 so if you’d like to bring a refreshing look to them, Roundification is one of the options. The tweak doesn’t require any configuration so once you’ve installed it, you’re good to go.
Roundification is exclusively available on the developer’s repo so you won’t be able to find it on one of the default Cydia repos. To install the tweak, you’ll first have to add the following source to Cydia: http://zachatrocity.com/repo. Once done, you should be able to find the new tweak and install it.
Zach has also acknowledged that the tweak will soon get a preferences pane as well which will includes options such as disabling round edges for Notification Center or notification banner. Once the development of the tweak is complete, you should be able to get the final version from BigBoss but if you can’t wait to try it, you can still install it from the developer’s repo mentioned earlier.
