In March of this year, CARROT Weather brought its sarcastic forecasts to the iPhone, and in April that extended to the Apple Watch.
Now, though, CARROT Weather has landed on another Apple platform: the Mac. The Mac app is akin to the iOS app, insofar that it will show users the weather information for the day, as well as hourly and daily forecasts. As is par for the course with CARROT apps, sarcastic comments are always present, and animations will change based on the weather. The app also features an expandable window, and there’s even a mini-window that can be placed in the Mac’s menu bar.
The desktop application can also forward notifications to your iPhone or iPad, as long as you’ve got the Mac turned on and the app running. Both the desktop version of the app and the mobile variant can also access a new Time Machine feature, allowing users to look back through the weather up to 70 years in the past, or ten years into the future.
The iOS version also gained radar views and more.
