iOS 9 Beta 5: What’s New

Earlier on August 6, Apple officially seeded the fifth developer beta for iOS 9, the future installment of Apple’s mobile operating system.
Now that it’s been out for a bit, a slew of new features have already been discovered. Below you’ll find what Apple has added to the mobile OS, which the public will be able to download, out of beta, later this year:
Handoff & Suggested Apps
The settings found within the Handoff & Suggested Apps area has been tweaked a bit, completely removing App Store suggestions on the lock screen. In its place, users will now see suggestions for apps that the user already has installed.
Shuffle All in Apple Music

One of the missing features, for many, within Apple Music was an easy option to shuffle their library. That changes with the latest beta, though, as a new Shuffle All option has been inserted at the very top of the Music app.
Wi-Fi Calling

One of the new features added is support for Wi-Fi Calling on AT&T’s network. In previous releases the feature was only available for T-Mobile, but that expands a bit now. Unfortunately for any iOS 9 beta users under AT&T’s network umbrella, the Big Blue carrier doesn’t actually support Wi-Fi Calling — but the carrier has plans to launch it in 2015.
Wi-Fi Assist

A new option within the Settings area is Wi-Fi Assist, which will automatically make the iOS 9-equipped devices switch to the device’s cellular connection if the Wi-Fi signal is too weak to take advantage of.
    Keyboard

The iOS 9 keyboard continues to get altered here and there. With the release of the fifth iOS 9 beta, there are several new tweaks, including the glyphs on the Delete, Shift, and Dictation keys.
    Wallpapers

And, finally, Apple has made some changes to the wallpaper choices within iOS 9. There are plenty of new abstract, super colorful images, while also having some backdrops of planets, flowers and splashes of color on a black background.
We’ll keep adding to the post as more features are discovered.
